Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our high-volume catheter manufacturing line. This role is responsible for supervising 30–40 operators and assemblers, ensuring efficient scheduling, build execution, and timeline tracking. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical device manufacturing, hands-on approach to team support, and have some engineering work history.
- Lead and manage a team of 30–40 operators/assemblers on the catheter production line
- Oversee daily operations including scheduling, build execution, and timeline tracking
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes
- Provide hands-on support to the team when needed to resolve issues and maintain workflow
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production line
- Train and mentor team members to enhance performance and career development
- Support transition and scale-up activities for new product introductions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a medical device manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of catheter manufacturing processes and high-volume production
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to manage scheduling and production timelines effectively
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and team support
- Engineering background or technical education preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ambition to grow into a Manufacturing Manager role
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
