• Plumbing Engineer

    Description

    Develop comprehensive design documentation including specifications, technical drawings, and installation instructions for plumbing and fire protection systems.

     

    Perform equipment selection and sizing calculations for system components such as pumps, piping, fixtures, and fire suppression devices.

     

    Review vendor submittals and product data to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and performance requirements.

     

    Collaborate with construction teams to assess field conditions, sequencing, and constructability of design solutions.

     

    Produce engineering deliverables that meet project scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.

     

    Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure integrated and cohesive system designs.

     

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    4–7 years of relevant experience in plumbing and fire protection system design.

     

    Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering tools.

     

    Solid understanding of plumbing codes (e.g., IPC, UPC) and NFPA standards.

     

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
