Job Title: Design Project ManagerJob Description
The Design Project Manager will be responsible for the overall design, scheduling, and execution of various projects within Healthcare, Industrial, and Commercial building development.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the design phase of various projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
+ Generate and manage financials, including earned value, man hours, and manpower/staffing.
+ Oversee project progress, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of scope, budget, and performance.
+ Communicate effectively about project details without relying solely on monthly reports.
+ Plan, schedule, and conduct both internal and external project meetings.
+ Engage in high-level communication to facilitate project success.
Essential Skills
+ 5-10 years of project management experience in an engineering discipline such as electrical, plumbing, or process engineering.
+ Proven experience managing both technical projects and financials, including estimating, hours, manpower, and earned value tracking.
+ Self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently.
+ Client-facing experience and proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Word.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Exposure to Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools.
+ Background in mechanical and process engineering is ideal.
+ Experience in architecture, consulting, or as an owner can be beneficial.
+ Business development skills, including networking at events.
Work Environment
The work environment involves managing multiple projects with a focus on design and execution in Healthcare, Industrial, and Commercial building development. The role requires proficiency in various engineering and design software tools and a high level of communication skills for effective project management.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
Full range of benefits with 4 weeks PTO. Hybrid schedule 3 days on 2 days remote.
