Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a dynamic environment. This role involves operating specialized Diamond CNC machining equipment, ensuring quality standards, and supporting the team to achieve optimal performance.
Responsibilities
+ Operate Diamond CNC machining equipment efficiently.
+ Perform cleanup and inspection of Diamond tools.
+ Braze tools as necessary and fill out required documentation related to tools and machine operations.
+ Conduct routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
+ Inspect tools for quality assurance, providing support and answering questions from team members.
+ Assist the Supervisor in managing customer demand, balancing department workload, and optimizing machine utilization.
+ Train, develop, and support department personnel, understanding their needs to ensure team success.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in setting up, breaking down, and programming CNC machines.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Wire EDM Machine operations.
+ Experience with 5-axis CNC machining.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Vollmer & Zoller Measuring machines is a plus.
+ Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
+ Proficiency in working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Work Environment
Join a small machine shop with around 5-8 employees on the floor, working in the diamond department alongside two other individuals. The work schedule is 1st shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Ontario, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $76960.00/yr.
