    Job Title: Research AssociateOverview:

    A leading life sciences organization is seeking a Research Associate to support in vitro studies focused on cell culture and biological sample analysis. This is a hands-on laboratory role ideal for candidates with familiarity in sterile technique, tissue culture, and basic analytical methods. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative research in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Conduct in vitro studies using biological matrices such as plasma, blood, urine, and feces from both human and animal sources.

    + Perform sample processing and wet chemistry techniques including pipetting, cell counting, and centrifugation.

    + Maintain and expand cell lines in preparation for assay work.

    + Seed cells onto assay plates, harvest cells, and perform extractions.

    + Operate analytical instruments such as LC-MS and plate readers; future responsibilities may include running own samples and performing extractions independently.

    + Support assay development and optimization based on client needs.

    + Apply sterile and aseptic techniques consistently in all lab procedures.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with lab protocols.

    Qualifications:

    + B.S. or M.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.

    + 1–4 years of hands-on experience in sterile cell culture, tissue culture, and aseptic technique.

    + Industry experience preferred; academic experience considered with strong technical skills.

    + Familiarity with analytical techniques such as LC-MS, plate readers, and PCR is a plus.

    + Strong attention to detail and accurate pipetting skills.

    + Ability to work independently and adapt to evolving scientific challenges.

    + Demonstrated scientific curiosity and problem-solving mindset.

    Ideal Candidate Traits:

    + Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

    + Comfortable with non-routine tasks and custom assay development.

    + Eager to learn and grow within a dynamic research environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $28.84/hr.
