    Job Title: Civil Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to provide both conceptual and final design for site and roadway projects. These projects typically involve the rehabilitation or reconstruction of roadways and miscellaneous site work at the Authority’s facilities. The role will also involve preparing cost estimates.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop conceptual and final designs for site and roadway projects.

    + Focus on rehabilitation or reconstruction of roadways.

    + Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects.

    + Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for design tasks.

    + Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.

    + Support the design of the Midtown Bus Terminal project.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

    + 4 years of experience in Civil Design Engineering with at least 2 years focused on highway, roadway, or site civil design.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

    + EIT certification.

    + Strong project management skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Familiarity with industry standards.

    + Experience with roadway and highway design.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

    The position is based at the Port Authority office in NYC, with a schedule of four days in the office and the option to work from home on Fridays.     This is a Contract position based out of New York, New York.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
