    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Design and develop mechanical components and systems for test environments supporting missile defense products.

     

    -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical, software, and systems engineering disciplines.

     

    Create detailed documentation including CAD models, drawings, and specifications for test equipment.

     

    -Support all phases of the engineering lifecycle, including concept development, design verification, production, and sustainment.

     

    -Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in lab, field, and production environments.

     

    -Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements.

     

    -Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

     

    -Present technical findings and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.

    What We’re Looking For:

    -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

     

    -Proven experience in mechanical design and integration, preferably in aerospace or defense.

     

    -Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) and engineering documentation.

     

    -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

     

    -Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

     

    -Active Secret Clearance

    Qualifications We Value: Design experience with mechanical and electronic packaging Experience with Configuration Management processes, application, and tools (e.g., Windchill / cPDM) Experience with cable design, specifically CREO Schematic

     

    Hours:      8:00am to 5:00pm

     

    Additional Job Details: Responsibilities to Anticipate: Research, plan, design and develop mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environments Integrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirements Evaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions

     

    Must Have: Active Security Clearance

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
