    Position Summary

    Day In The Life:

    NOTE: This job REQUIRES an active pharmacy technician license in the state of Indiana.

     

    As an Overnight Pharmacy Technician in the Automation department, you will work to ensure all medication needs and regulatory standards are met for our patients. You will work in various machines allowing you to grow your skillsets further. Our back-end team focuses on order fulfillment in our closed-door pharmacy setting, including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks and responsibilities include:

     

    + The shift would be four 10-hour days from Tuesday through Friday from 6pm to 430a. These shifts could be moved to 5pm to 330am if needed. The rotating Saturdays would be every third Saturday from 3pm to 7pm. Another shift option is three 12-hour shifts Friday through Sunday from 3pm to 330am if that is preferred. Prior to starting the permanent shift there would be a training period from 7a-330pm Monday through Friday for however long it takes to become certified, likely 6 to 8 weeks

    + Rotating and working in various assigned pharmacy workstations including: ALV machine, ODEII machine, other machines as needed

    + Receiving product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with leads to ensure shipments are accurate and deliveries are timely

    + Performing physical inventories of medication

    Required Qualifications

    What You Bring:

    + Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

    + One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    Additional Skills/Experience, but not Required:

    + Prior experience in the long-term care industry

    + Prior experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting

    + PTCB National Certification

    + Five (5) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent experience

    Pay Range

    The typical pay range for this role is:

    $16.00 - $26.21

     

    This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
