Description We are looking for a dedicated Project Billing Specialist to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes for project-related expenses. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Manage project billing tasks, including the preparation and submission of invoices to clients.

• Ensure all time sheets and expense reports are accurately recorded and processed.

• Monitor for missing invoices and follow up with relevant departments to resolve discrepancies.

• Utilize spreadsheets and pivot tables to analyze billing data and track costs.

• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely submission of billing information.

• Provide training and guidance on billing procedures to team members as needed.

• Maintain detailed records of billing activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to address billing inquiries.

• Perform cost analysis to identify areas for improvement in billing processes.

• Assist in offline accounting functions and ensure all documentation is properly organized. Requirements • Proven experience in project billing or related accounting functions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time sheets and expense submissions efficiently.

• Familiarity with tools such as About Time or similar systems is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle large amounts of data.

• Experience with cost analysis and invoice reconciliation.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
