Description

Lisa Cole with Robert Half is looking for a skilled and meticulous Grants Analyst to join a company in the Sacramento area. This role is integral to ensuring compliance, fiscal oversight, and effective management of grant processes within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of federal grant regulations and experience in monitoring and supporting subrecipients, making impactful contributions to organizational accountability. Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze grants, invoices, budgets, and expenditures to ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies.

• Track and process grant invoicing and draws through relevant systems, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

• Conduct compliance testing on financial documentation and coordinate corrective actions for identified issues.

• Prepare financial reports and analyses based on audited statements and other official documentation.

• Perform on-site and virtual monitoring visits to evaluate subrecipient compliance and risk, providing follow-up reports and action plans.

• Offer technical assistance and training to partner agencies on fiscal management and compliance standards.

• Implement monitoring strategies and risk assessments to promote accountability among partner agencies.

• Research and interpret evolving regulations to update internal processes and guidance for partners.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reporting, invoicing, and monitoring deliverables.

• Prepare thorough reports and presentations for leadership and funders, highlighting findings, risks, and recommendations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent educational credits.

• Strong knowledge of grant regulations.

• Understanding of nonprofit accounting practices, including grants payable and accounts receivable.

• Proven ability to interpret and apply changing regulatory guidance and contractual requirements.

• Demonstrated skill in leading cross-functional projects and improving scalable processes.

• High attention to detail with a commitment to organizational accountability
