Description

Robert Half is hiring a Network Engineer - this employee will provide advanced computer services and support across the organization. This role is mainly onsite in the King of Prussia, PA area. For consideration, please apply directly.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Assist in the installation, maintenance, administration, and upgrades of enterprise network infrastructure platforms.

+ Monitor network systems and data centers to ensure peak performance and reliability.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve system outages; coordinate with vendors as needed.

+ Collaborate with vendors, clients, carriers, and internal technical teams on network implementation, optimization, and security.

+ Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans in coordination with corporate security.

+ Document and regularly test disaster recovery and continuity plans.

+ Follow company and vendor best practices for design, programming, and application standards.

+ Manage and resolve support tickets efficiently and professionally.

+ Provide after-hours and weekend support as needed for operational issues and server maintenance, including security patching.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

+ Proven experience with router, switch, and firewall installation/configuration.

+ Strong firewall management skills.

+ Familiarity with wireless LAN controllers preferred.

+ Understanding of VoIP and video systems interaction with network infrastructure.

+ Experience with scripting, APIs, and automation is a plus.
