Job Descriptions:
NECS is currently seeking a Hybrid (2 Days in office 3 days remote) full-time Monday- Friday Billing Specialist- Dispensing Pharmacy to join our professional billing team. The primary focus of the Payment Poster - Dispensing Pharmacy is to support the financial operation of the Pharmacy Department by completing daily reconciliation of inventory transactions, performing data analysis, and maintaining accurate departmental data and reports. This role will work closely with Pharmacy and Finance Leaders to develop, prepare, and maintain quality data analytics that will be utilized by leadership and management across various settings and promote new opportunities for the organization, thus enhancing efficiency and resulting in optimal revenue

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Post all payments to the practice management system timely and accurately.
+ Reconcile income and costs with Finance department with the defined month-end closing parameters.
+ Work with the dispensing pharmacy team to ensure daily billing procedures are accurate and timely, including claim adjudication, copay collection, and AR reconciliation.
+ Work with the finance team to complete payer and patient refunds.
+ Identify key drivers for refunds and work with the Sr. Revenue Cycle Manager to identify opportunities for reducing refunds.
+ Identify key drivers for prescription voids and work with the Pharmacy, Finance, and Revenue Cycle to identify opportunities for reducing controllable voids.
+ Daily reconciliation of prescription activity within Nucleus and QS1. Runs reports, reconcile all payments & refunds before the month is closed.
+ Supports company payment posting by creating and reconciling batches to the monthly spreadsheet.
+ Identifies and manages payment posting errors.
+ Monitoring accounts receivable for dispensing pharmacy. Works with Pharmacy to resolve aging accounts.
Required Experience:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum of two years medical billing experience preferred
+ Attention to detail and accuracy
+ Must be able to work in a team environment
+ HIPPA compliant and have an understanding of patient confidentiality
