    Medical Receptionist

     

    We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team in Englewood, Colorado. This role involves providing exceptional front-desk support in a medical setting, ensuring smooth communication between patients and healthcare providers. As a Contract-to-permanent position, it offers a unique opportunity to grow within the organization while contributing to the delivery of quality care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate and schedule patient appointments following established guidelines and procedures.

    • Serve as a compassionate point of contact between patients and healthcare providers.

    • Process payments, including collecting co-pays and issuing receipts, with accuracy and professionalism.

    • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of reception and waiting areas, reporting any issues or damage.

    • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility with health insurance providers.

    • Support the management and updating of patient medical records.

    • Assist patients with inquiries and provide clear information about services and procedures.

    • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document and access patient information efficiently.

    • Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and organizational policies in handling patient data.

    Requirements

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under pressure.

    • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is preferred.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    • Solid understanding of basic medical terminology.

    • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    • Previous experience in a medical reception or front-desk role is highly desired.

    • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills for delivering outstanding patient service.
