Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. This role requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in corporate accounting, including expense accruals, month-end close processes, and account reconciliations. Responsibilities:

• Oversee corporate accounting functions, including expense accruals and month-end close activities.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Ensure accurate preparation and review of financial statements and reports.

• Manage journal entries and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.

• Collaborate with the revenue and cost teams to address turnover impacts and maintain financial consistency.

• Lead audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Utilize NetSuite to streamline accounting operations and reporting.

• Provide guidance and support to the OpEx team, contributing to operational excellence.

• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting workflows.

• Communicate financial insights and updates to stakeholders effectively. Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on corporate accounting functions.

• Proficiency in NetSuite is required.

• Strong knowledge of expense accruals, month-end close processes, and account reconciliations.

• Familiarity with general ledger maintenance and journal entries.

• Demonstrated experience with financial statement preparation and audits.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
