    Robert Half Finance & Accounting (Englewood, CO)


    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to managing multi-entity financial operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities.

    + Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals.

    + Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and forecasting.

    + Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.

    + Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

    + Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.

    + Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.

    + Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.

    + Utilize QuickBooks for general ledger, reporting, and reconciliation tasks.

     

    This role is 100% in office. To be considered must be in Colorado and able to work 5 days a week in the office.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + CPA or CPA candidate required.

    + 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

    + Candidates with outsourced accounting experience are encouraged to apply.

    + Proven experience in managing or leading accounting teams.

    + Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting structures.

    + Experience with budgeting and financial planning.

    + Proficient in cash management and forecasting.

    + Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
