    Title: Contract Payroll Specialist

     

    Duration: 2-3 Months

     

    Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist looking for a short-term opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join a team in South San Francisco, CA, and assist with critical payroll functions. This contract role is perfect for a candidate with expertise in prevailing wages, certified payroll, and compliance regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Process and ensure the accuracy of payroll data, including certified payroll and prevailing wage reports.

    + Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

    + Prepare and submit certified payroll documentation in adherence to compliance guidelines.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.

    + Stay informed of wage laws, compliance standards, and updates to prevailing wage requirements.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Proven experience in payroll processing, including managing prevailing wage and certified payroll.

    + Strong knowledge of payroll compliance regulations and wage laws specific to California.

    + High attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.

    + Experience working with payroll software and Excel proficiency. Paychex is preferred.

    + CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification is a plus but not required.

    Additional Information:

    + This is a temporary contract role with a duration of 2-3 months.

    + Flexible working arrangements may be available.

    + Hourly pay rate is competitive and commensurate with experience in the field.
