    Salary $30 (BSN) $33.00 (MSN)

     

    Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - 19.5

    Summary of Position

    To assist the qualified Associate Degree Nursing Program Faculty with clinical learning experiences. To provide necessary supervision and instruction to ADN students in the clinical or simulated setting.

    Minimum Required Education

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with an approaching graduation date.

    Minimum Required Experience

    A minimum of 3 years recent full time wage earning nursing experience in the anticipated clinical area.

     

    Hold a current license or privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

     

    Current CPR certification for the Health Care Provider or equivalent.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • • Have the clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in the designated area of teaching. • Competence in all basic skills of nursing practice. • Knowledge of the integral components of a simulated learning experience. • Communicate professionally with students, clinical faculty, and agency personnel. • Basic BlackBoard competency.

     

    Eligible for coverage under CTC’s commercial auto and other liability insurance policies.
