Job Description
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and organizing all types of projects, from simple activities to more sophisticated plans. Responsibilities include working closely with management to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for projects. Position will perform various tasks such as coordinating schedules and administrative duties. The incumbent will maintain project documentation and handle financial and other data queries. The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that assigned projects are completed on time, within budget and meet quality standards. Responsible for supporting programmatic development, program and project management, data tracking and analysis, quality assurance and troubleshooting related to department specific projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Coordinates project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
+ Liaises with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
+ Assigns tasks to team members and tracks to completion. Assists with scheduling meetings.
+ Assures that clients' needs are met as projects evolve.
+ May Assists in preparation of budgets.
+ Identifies and makes visible risks and opportunities.
+ Monitors project progress and address or raises any issues that arise.
+ Acts as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
+ Uses appropriate tools to monitor project, plans and expenditures.
+ Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
+ Conduct market research, prepare studies and compelling cases and recommendation to support program. Conduct and summarize research in support of any or all programs.
+ Create basic tables and organize and present data to project team.
+ Coordinates needed meetings, including draft agendas and accurate note taking.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Management or related field preferred. Master's degree in Hospital, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field preferred.
Experience:
Two (2) years of related administrative and/or management experience inclusive of project management, performance improvement and strategic planning required.
Two (2) years of related heath care experience or equivalent combination of education; Experience in quality improvement or health care data analysis (For Quality/Performance Improvement Dept) preferred.
