Responsibilities:
+ Provide support or assistance with equipment qualifications, method transfers/verifications, continuous improvement initiatives as well as document authorship activities
+ Supporting the Lilly QC capabilities to support standardization and harmonization of compendial and non-compendial testing for raw materials.
+ Performing routine data review for accuracy and data integrity for raw material batch release, including compliance to specifications and data integrity requirements.
+ performs accurate and timely testing of routine and non-routine lab samples in accordance with appropriate GMP and safety guidelines.
+ Accurately and safely perform chemical testing of water, clean steam, environmental monitoring, and compressed gases per established testing procedures and protocols.
+ Accurately record data in reports or MODA/LIMS in accordance with laboratory procedures, standards, and GMP requirements.
+ Supporting root cause investigations
+ Coordinate external testing activities with contract laboratories, including investigations and method transfers
+ Maintain inventory of all supplies and consumables for the laboratory.
+ Recognizes deviations from procedures, methods, etc. and initiates an investigation as required.
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor (4-year college) degree in a life or applied science or equivalent experience
Additional Skills/Preferences:
+ Previous experience performing compendial testing of raw materials
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with groups internal and external to Lilly
Additional Information:
+ Experience with electronic laboratory management systems (E.g., LIMS, LabX, MODA)· Experience with TrackWise, Veeva· Experience in operational excellence, such as lean and 5S initiatives. Additional Information:· 8-hour days – Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend support of a 24/7 manufacturing operation. · Minimal travel required. · Tasks may require repetitive motion (e.g., keyboarding).

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$69,000 - $179,300
Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
