The Administrative Support Associate V/Manager Support role is to perform customer service, clerical and reception duties that support the workflow of the B2 nurse manager, the unit, and the delivery of patient care. The clerical activities include ensuring accurate record keeping, workday ordering, staffing, and utilization of clinical information systems. The customer service duties include effective communication with patients, significant others, members of the health care team, and the organization.
Daily Job Duties include:
+ Creating traveler, new staff orientation packets
+ Assisting with contact of prospective employees and scheduling interviews
+ Collecting unit's mail
+ Assisting to check Code Cart Daily Checklist Sheet
+ Monitoring daily staffing sheets and maintaining accuracy of information
+ Check refrigerator labels/ fridge stickers weekly
+ Check temperature on Fridge/Freezer daily & record
+ Create new hire files
+ Follow up with staff on expiring certifications
+ Maintain staff mailboxes
+ Maintain staff files
+ Remind staff about annual reviews and employee health visits
+ Assist with bringing broken equipment to clinical engineering
+ Report any telecommunication issues
+ Order food for Nutrition Room and put it away once delivered
+ Assist with tracking, monitoring unit supplies
+ Assist with scheduling requests
+ Assist with tracking unit equipment
+ Promote a positive workplace environment
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum of one-year healthcare or clerical experience preferred
