    Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a **Lead Software Engineer** in Charlotte, NC.

    Job Role and Responsibility:

    Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to set IT strategy and enhance design, development, and operations of software engineering systems. Optimize the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint, provide information security, and enable continuous banking access with in-store, Online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo’s global customers. Support existing services as well as design and implement new business solutions, provide application guidance and consultation, and utilize a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools, and existing designs. Partner with projects, Business Analysts, and Developers on application definition, design, development, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions. Analyze highly complex business requirements. Generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications for middleware. Maintain existing services and applications. Develop new, highly complex original code while practicing test-driven development and taking end-to-end ownership of software functionality. Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts, and provide coding direction to junior engineers. Work with team members to provide insight into solving complex problems while leveraging enterprise and industry best practices. Support systems testing and migration of platforms and applications to production. Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

    **Required Qualifications** :

    **Degree required:** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.

    **Amount and type of experience required:** Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience.

    Specific skills required:

    + Five (5) years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL

    + Three (3) years of experience with Oracle eBusiness Suite – Financials, System Administration, and Application Developer

    + Three (3) years of experience with Oracle Forms and Reports

    + Experience with Host Scripting

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
