Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Specialty Thin Film – Hollis, NH is currently seeking applicants for a Cost Analyst. This position will be responsible for month and year end close process for the Warwick, RI manufacturing site as well as provide analysis to help drive business decisions to achieve financial targets.
What you will be doing:
+ Responsible for the Month End and Year End Close Process
+ Perform all journal entries to close the books.
+ Perform Account Reconciliations
+ Prepare and Analyze Monthly Income Statement for each product line.
+ Review COGS for accuracy.
+ Review Financials upon completion in TM1.
+ Prepare and maintain product standard costs.
+ Update Labor and Overhead rates on yearly basis; monitor monthly and quarterly changes.
+ Prepare, Analyze, and Publish monthly gross profit Report.
+ Control Inventory - valuation and movements in terms of value (gross and net) and units.
+ Responsible for Inventory Transactions and Reporting
+ Reconcile Inventory monthly.
+ Assure application of division's obsolescence policy and identify problem areas.
+ Reconcile Precious Metal Usage and Reclaim
+ Generate and Review Monthly Cycle Counts
+ Assure reporting of financial performance and manufacturing statistics.
+ Provide analysis of variances with written comments.
+ Participating in establishment and follow up of capital requests.
+ Monitor cost reduction projects in the plant.
+ Assist in preparation of Strategic Plans, annual budget, and quarterly forecasts.
+ Present Monthly Financials to Management
+ Present Gross Profit Report for Management
+ Prepare Other Special Finance Reports as requested.
+ Metal Impact Analysis
+ Direct Labor Study
+ Product Innovation
+ Part Cost Analysis as requested.
+ Other Ad hoc analysis as requested.
What you will bring along:
+ BS in Accounting or Business Management.
+ 5-10+ years related experience in cost analyst role in manufacturing environment
+ Solid analytical and communication skills.
+ Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office products.(Word, Excel, Outlook)
+ Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
