As a Sr. Corporate Account Manager (Poultry Health) you will serve as the internal hatchery technical expert and support customer adoption of best practices to optimize our company's Animal Health portfolio and provide technical support to customers, distributors, and sales teams regarding the use of poultry health products. _This position is a field based technical services manager position within the US Poultry Business Unit and based in Mississippi. Selected candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the assigned region._
MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Deliver a high level of technical expertise, service, and support to our company's Animal Health sales territories in the USA. Assure those services align with corporate objectives and are within budget guidelines.
+ Develop and deliver technical training, presentations, and educational materials for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
+ Monitor disease trends, treatment outcomes, and customer feedback to guide product improvement and innovation.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of poultry health challenges, competitive products, and market trends in the layer industry.
+ Technical Service includes but is not limited to involvement in the development of new products when needed, product use directions, quality control in application of vaccines, adverse event reporting in accordance with internal, FDA and USDA regulatory policies, dealing with bird health issues in customer's operations outside of vaccine related problems, customer complaints, and education of new products from Animal Health.
+ Design and execute field trial evaluation of newly licensed and legacy products to produce technical support information in the form of presentations, papers, and technical bulletins.
+ Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of field trials and clinical studies for new or existing products.
+ Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), veterinary institutions, and poultry organizations.
+ Assist R&D and Manufacturing teams with product evaluation, licensing trials and product development for all Animal Health products when needed. This may also include evaluation of new technology and innovation particularly when dealing with poultry intestinal health.
+ Additional duties will include attending and presenting in prominent industry scientific meetings, trade shows, and industry events portraying Animal Health as a source of highly valuable technical expertise. Obtain information regarding customer needs through various channels and provide feedback to prioritize research and development needs.
+ Aid in development of technical and marketing brochures for Animal Health products when needed.
+ Act as a liaison between prominent researchers in university, government and private settings to supply Animal Health with stream of information regarding innovative products and developments within the research world.
+ Communicate between various Animal Health departments, as needed, to aid in delivery of product to customers, i.e. International Registration, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, etc. to align veterinary expertise with business strategy.
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
+ Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
+ Specialization in poultry health and a post graduate program in poultry health is preferred
+ Minimum of three to five years related experience in poultry technical services or supporting poultry health, incubation and hatchery management
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work in a team environment
+ Good leadership skills
+ Familiarity with hatchery systems
+ Must be willing to travel at least 60% of the time.
Preferred Experiences and Skills:
+ Hatchery Health Specific/Health Management
+ Understanding of chick quality metrics, incubation biology, and diseases prevention

The salary range for this role is
$139,600.00 - $219,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
