    Job Description:

    VICE PRESIDENT, TECHNICAL MISSION TRANSFORMATION

    Join GDIT as a Technical Mission Transformation Vice President for a career where your growth is just as important as the mission you support. As the Technical Mission Transformation Vice President, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful as you fuel critical outcomes to the diplomacy mission. You will lead strategy and IT technology transformation to drive our critical mission forward.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Strategic Planning

    + Develop long-term technical transformation vision and strategic plans in AI, cyber, Supply Chain, Cloud, and Digital modernization aligned with our enterprise scorecard.

    + Conduct SWOT analysis to evaluate organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

    Market Analysis

    + Stay informed on GDIT enterprise solutions, industry trends, competitor actions, and market dynamics.

    + Use market research to inform strategy development.

    Decision Making

    + Make informed strategic decisions to achieve/exceed scorecard goals.

    + Prioritize initiatives based on potential impact and feasibility.

    Implementation Oversight

    + Ensure successful implementation of strategic plans.

    + Monitor progress and adjust as necessary.

    Stakeholder Management

    + Collaborate with key stakeholders including executives, program leaders, growth, and CTO to ensure alignment and buy-in.

    + Build relationships with customers, partners, and other external stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    Education

    + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

    Experience

    + 15+ years of experience in global executive strategic planning and enterprise technology transformation.

    + 15+ years of experience in leadership roles where strategic decision-making and outcome-based solutions were central to responsibilities.

    + 15+ years of experience supporting successful global mission projects valued over $100M.

    Key Skills and Competencies:

    Analytical Skills

    + Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform strategic IT transformation decisions.

    + Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

    Communication Skills

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively conveying strategy to executives and stakeholders.

    + Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

    Leadership and Management Skills

    + Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire teams towards strategic goals.

    + Experience with managing cross-functional teams and leading change.

    Problem-Solving Ability

    + Strong problem-solving skills to identify strategic issues and find effective solutions.

    + Creative thinking and innovation to drive strategic initiatives.

    Financial Acumen

    + Understanding of financial reports and metrics.

    + Ability to assess the financial viability of strategic plans.

    Project Management Skills

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Competency in project planning and execution.

    Additional Requirements

    + Security clearance level: Top Secret.

    + US citizenship required.

    + Ability to travel globally as needed.

    The likely salary range for this position is $301,662 - $346,911. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
