Job Responsibilities

+ Service and maintain commercial fire alarm systems and components to ensure proper functionality.

+ Troubleshoot systems to diagnose issues such as ground faults, open circuits, and short circuits.

+ Educate customers on the functionality and operation of their fire alarm systems.

+ Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

+ Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

+ Maintain a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

+ 3+ years of experience with commercial fire alarm systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.

+ Experience using electronic testing devices.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

+ NICET II, III, or IV Fire Life Safety certification.

+ Experience in low voltage or security systems.

+ Manufacturer certifications for fire alarm systems.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

+ Basic understanding of IT systems and functionality.

Physical Requirements

+ Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs; push/pull over 75 lbs.

+ Comfortable working at heights (ladders, man lifts).

+ Exposure to varying weather conditions and loud environments.

+ Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
