    Position Summary

    The Desktop Support Specialist is responsible for providing hands-on technical support for Windows operating systems, hardware deployments, and network connectivity in a corporate environment. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth IT operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems within a networked environment, including adding and removing users from the network.

    + Perform desktop and PC deployments, hardware installations, and equipment setup for new and existing users.

    + Support environmental refresh projects, upgrades, and replacements of IT assets.

    + Provide post-installation support and resolve break/fix issues promptly to minimize downtime.

    + Troubleshoot hardware components, peripherals, and small network devices (e.g., print servers).

    + Deliver field tech support for remote offices and on-site activities as needed.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of installations, configurations, and resolutions for internal knowledge sharing.

    + Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues and ensure compliance with company standards.

    Qualifications

    + Experience: 3+ years of Windows 10/11 OS support and hardware troubleshooting in a corporate environment.

    + Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Windows OS installation and troubleshooting.

    + Experience with PC deployments, hardware installs, and network connectivity.

    + Soft Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
