Medical Office Assistant/MA
Schedule: Full-time, flexible start time between 7:00–8:30 AM
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Assistant to join one of the largest medical entities in the DMV area. This role is essential to maintaining clinic flow and delivering an exceptional patient experience in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
+ Ensure smooth clinic operations before rooming patients, helping maintain steady patient flow
+ Manage scheduling, referrals, and follow-up on clinical notes
+ Accurately document patient information in Aria, including:
+ Doctor notes
+ Demographics
+ Insurance details
+ Screening responses
+ Provide outstanding customer service, acting as a key point of contact for patients
+ Support multiple clinics within a large department, interacting with a team of 50+ staff
+ Move throughout the office during shifts, working both front desk and back office as needed
Qualifications:
+ Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Office Assistant/MA
+ At least 1 year of experience in clinic operations
+ Familiarity with Aria or similar EMR systems preferred
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume medical office (150+ patients/day)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
