Senior Duck Creek Policy Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Duck Creek Policy Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is central to the development and support of our policy administration solutions using Duck Creek Technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Duck Creek Policy components and a strong background in insurance systems and software development.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and implement configurations across Duck Creek Policy components including Author, Product Studio, Express, Server, User Admin, and TransACT.
+ Customize rating algorithms, forms, and UI layouts within the Duck Creek framework.
+ Integrate Duck Creek Policy with external systems via APIs and web services.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and deployment challenges.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.
+ Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
+ Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert for Duck Creek Policy across IT and business teams.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 8 years of Duck Creek Policy development experience.
+ Minimum of 10 years of overall software development experience.
+ Proficiency in XML, XSLT, XPATH, SQL, .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
+ Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) and cloud upgrades is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of P&C insurance, especially in underwriting, rating, forms, and regulatory requirements.
+ Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
