Position Overview:
The Supervisor provides both clinical and administrative leadership for the nursing clinic, ensuring high-quality, patient centered care and operational excellence. This hands-on leader blends direct patient care with management responsibilities, supporting daily clinical operations, staff development, and process improvement initiatives across department locations. The ideal candidate will have direct oncology or radiation oncology experience, with procedural or surgery center and recovery experience strongly preferred. Must possess prior supervisory experience and demonstrate strong administrative skills, including HR functions such as recruiting, employee relations, and policy development. Proficiency in Epic and current clinical competency are essential. The role requires the ability to identify, implement, and evaluate process improvements; monitor key performance metrics; and ensure compliance with policies, workflows, competencies, and training standards. Candidates with PALS, ACLS, and ONS certification are preferred. Approximately 50% or less of the role involves performing direct clinical duties within the scope of licensure.

EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
RN-Registered Nurse of California
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrate basic nursing skills.
Demonstrate effective English verbal and written communication skills.
Self-directed in coordinating the care plan for patient care delivery.
Completion of SMF orientation: Basic Skills Assessment, Epic and IDX course work and competency assessment.
Demonstrate knowledge of community resources, legal policies relating to patient decisions and outcomes.
Demonstrate skills in delegation, leadership and team management concepts.
Demonstrate knowledge of the performance standards of other team members.
Completion of department specific orientation.
Computer skills, including Epic, Intelliden and IDX.

Pay Range is $79.46 to $104.08 / hour
