Description

Our client is looking for an Azure Network Engineer for a 6 month contract to hire to support the Senior Cloud architect. They are looking for candidates who can manage, design, and secure its Azure network infrastructure through roles focused on both operations and security. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, implementing security policies, and using automation tools to improve efficiency in a cloud and hybrid environment.

The role involves the day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of the network, including acting as a senior escalation point for issues and supporting new network solution designs. The position also requires a strong understanding of both network and cloud operations. They will be focused on the Azure environment and requires the ability to design, implement, and manage Azure networking, virtual desktops, and other cloud services. It involves close collaboration with security and DevOps teams to ensure scalable and secure infrastructure. Focus on security aspects of both cloud and on-premises networks. Responsibilities include hands-on experience with security systems like firewalls, intrusion detection, and web proxies, with a heavy emphasis on Azure security.

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
