•The Real-Time Unified Experiences team at Microsoft Fabric is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to shape the future of real-time intelligence products. We’re building solutions that deliver timely, data-driven insights through AI, enabling users to interpret millions of daily events and make informed decisions instantly. We need skilled full-stack engineers to create exceptional user experiences for our applications, helping users unlock the full potential of their data. You’ll tackle complex technical challenges, leveraging cutting-edge open-source web technologies to build modern, high-performance, reliable, secure, responsive, and accessible user interfaces. Key technologies include React/Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, PNPM (package manager), Vite (bundler), Turbo (monorepo and tooling), Playwright (end-to-end testing), and TanStack (routing and query).

Qualifications
Required** **Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, developing applications at an enterprise scale.
Other Requirements
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements arerequired for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
+ This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of front-end development experience.
+ Systematic problem-solving skills with a focus on clean, modular design.
+ Proven track record of excellence in software engineering, including design, coding, code reviews, testing, and DevOps.
+ Experience building, deploying, and operating applications and services on cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
+ Experience with data visualization technologies (e.g., D3, Highcharts).
+ Growth mindset with a commitment to learning, seeking diverse perspectives, and staying current with industry trends and techniques.
+ Startup mentality with the ability to move and iterate rapidly, work across disciplines, and maintain a strong customer focus.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
