With a vision to "Build and sell Microsoft AI, Cloud applications, services, and devices with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more, Windows and Device Sales (WDS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions–at scale. As part of WDS, Device Partner Sales (DPS) the **Worldwide Partner Development Manager - Hybrid Cloud** plays a critical role in achieving this mission. We build, market and sell breakthrough AI-powered devices and cloud experiences with partners, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), device distribution and reseller channels, Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and Silicon providers. We work closely across the device partner ecosystem and internal teams to transform the world of computing.
Opportunities in DPS are expansive. We span the entire product lifecycle from incubation, prototyping, and portfolio planning to the device design, and selling them through the Retail, Distribution and Reseller channel, sell-through to their consumer and commercial customers. As a member of our team, you will be part of growing a multi-billion-dollar business, charting new areas of innovation, and contributing to our partnership engagements worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of Windows devices and AI services in partnership with the strength of our device partner ecosystem.

We work with a key partner to build solutions across all layers of the stack, Storage and Compute, developing platform solutions that enables customers to secure and govern their applications across on-premises, multicloud and edge environments, empowering every person and every business to reinvent their experience with AI infused technology. As the DPS Partner Development Manager you will drive intelligent edge and cloud solutions sales with partners, helping solve customer challenges with AI infused services. Leading a top-notch partner management process, the role will nurture deep partner executive relationships and build trust, showcasing an understanding of their business and Microsoft's value. Establishing executive sponsorships for joint aspirational goals, creating joint GTM motions that can drive scale and reach, orchestrating quarterly business reviews and lead the execution excellence and alignment. You will be responsible for managing partner relationships, partner account management, business transformation model, operational execution and driving cross company alignment on the joint Innovation agenda and priorities.

Responsibilities
+ You will be responsible for building trusted advisor relationships with partners by understanding their local strategy and business imperatives as you leverage your expert knowledge of Microsoft strategies to explore new ways to grow their businesses and manage the end-to-end relationships with partners, leveraging account management processes and marketing investments for local execution.
+ Advocating for partners internally by connecting them to Microsoft executives, facilitating device roadmap reviews and opportunity pipelines is essential and monitor partner satisfaction and evaluating the health of relationships is part of the responsibility.
+ You will drive growth through core business by creating a local strategic vision for partnerships, transforming the partner ecosystem with intelligent edge devices and services, and achieving Device Partner Sales KPIs.
+ The role also involves innovating the ecosystem with partners, championing Microsoft as a valued business partner and activating new channel capabilities. Compliance and ethical sales practices are emphasized.
+ In terms of co-selling partnerships, you will proactively nature the partner ecosystem, driving opportunities through matchmaking, and integrating partner expertise into sales cycles. Additionally, you will manager partner co-selling for strategic partners and scaling partner offerings through co-sell-ready partners.
+ Understanding partner and customer needs through direct engagements, surveys, and social mechanisms is crucial for driving partner impact and will align resources and programs to support partner co-sell pipeline velocity and address any friction points. Continuous feedback and adaptation of partner strategies are essential for success.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 5+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.
+ Experience with hybrid cloud technology.
+ Hardware and/or OEM experience.

Preferred qualifications
+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.
Partner Development Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
