Position Summary
The Clinical Consultant, Central Pharmacy serves as a key partner internally and externally, responsible for scoping and advancing deals efficiently without compromising customer satisfaction. This role functions as a subject matter expert in healthcare workflows, lean processes, and clinical product education, acting as a strategic partner for Omnicell customers. The Consultant delivers guidance to facilities evaluating or utilizing Omnicell automation and software, ensuring optimal customer outcomes and supporting the expansion of Omnicell’s portfolio. Responsibilities include leading discussions and presentations with stakeholders, addressing clinical issues and concerns, performing workflow assessments, building business case strategies, and coaching clients to secure internal support for strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
+ Engage in solution design during pre-sale and collaborate post-sale with Omnicell teams to enhance the customer lifecycle.
+ Serve as a healthcare and central pharmacy expert, communicating Omnicell’s suite of services to customers.
+ Provide clinical and workflow expertise, including Omnicell solutions and industry best practices.
+ Develop business case strategies and design optimal technology solutions, aligning customer medication management with key performance indicators (KPIs) and future vision.
+ Support the development of best practices for medication management and technology adoption.
+ Ensure continuity and knowledge transfer from pre-sale through implementation.
+ Serve as a resource to customers on hospital practice and medication management processes.
+ Lead assigned projects as identified by leadership.
+ Assist with training and development initiatives.
+ Identify opportunities for cross-selling Omnicell products, including add-on and replacement solutions, to establish a foundation for customer success.
+ Support regional quota attainment, account strategy development, and growth and referenceability in assigned accounts.

+ Emotional intelligence and executive presence.
+ Ability to travel 50-80% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with healthcare-related technology.
Basic Qualifications
+ B.S. in Pharmacy, Pharm.D., or bachelor’s degree with related experience required.
+ Five (5) or more years of experience in the healthcare industry.
