Microsoft 365 Copilot brings AI assistance to productivity work via M365 App, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more by grounding large language models (LLMs) in Microsoft Graph (work data) and the web to deliver secure, contextually relevant help to users inside their everyday apps. M365 Copilot has core capabilities like web search grounding, image understanding & image generation, and advanced data analysis via a Python “code‑interpreter” and we are looking to expand these capabilities further. We need a Product Manager II to lead end‑to‑end product definition from problem discovery to shipped impact at scale. The specific role would be part of the Micorsoft Search, Assitant, Iintelligence Turing Product Manament team. The Turing team has a long history of building and shipping state‑of‑the‑art foundation models and multimodal technologies that power experiences across Microsoft, including Search, Office, and Copilot. Combined with M365 Copilot, this role would be a focal point where cutting‑edge research meets massive real‑world use.
As a **Product Manager II** in **Microsoft Search, Assitant, Intelligence Turing** team, you will be responsible for doing market research on the latest tech trends and how they are being used by AI tools to enhance productivity of information workers. The work will involve doing competitor research, defining user needs and aligning them with capabilities of the AI models to enable end-to-end experiences in M365 Copilot that will add value to the product that can be directly monetized. This opportunity will allow you to work closely with leading Applied AI Scientists and Engineers, be AI forward with data and metrics driven decision making and convert your work into direct business value for Microsoft.
This role requires you to be onsite 3 days a week in Microsoft's offices in Redmond, WA.

Responsibilities
+ Customer Focus: You will roll up your sleeves and identify end-user needs and gaps by doing opportunity analysis in the problem domain through data analysis, user and market research.
+ Product Thinking: Translate fuzzy user pain points into lovable, metric-moving features and products. Own roadmaps and prioritize work that balances long-term investments with short-term needs from various product teams - ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Execution & Ownership: You can make it happen! Deeply engaged with applied science, engineering and design teams to ensure clarity on goals, launch fast and iterate faster.
+ Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data to prioritize features, make informed trade-offs, and continually enhance product performance.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years of experience tailoring discussions to different audiences.
+ 3+ years of familiarity with AI, LLM and data driven decision making.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ **Microsoft Cloud Background Check:** This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development
+ OR equivalent experience.
Product Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
