This role will be based in Mountain View, CA. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
LinkedIn is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to build its latest continuous compliance platform. In this role, you will help create an end-to-end solution that enables LinkedIn to meet its compliance and risk management obligations, at scale, through the use of real time data and generative AI services.
We are looking for motivated professionals who have a proven track record of working with both engineering and non-engineering teams to build easy-to-use and resilient web applications in the areas of compliance or risk management. Successful team members typically have some experience developing compliance management solutions or similar software that manages process workflows and integrates with multiple data sources.

Responsibilities:
• Work with internal customer to design, implement, and optimize application user interfaces and workflows used for continuous compliance and risk management
• Design and build supporting applications and data services necessary to create a comprehensive compliance management platform
• Support the deployment and runtime operation of the compliance platform including participation in on-call rotations
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain our high development standards
• Mentor other engineers and will help build a growing team
Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of industry experience in web application design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
• Experience writing clean JavaScript including experience with modern frameworks (React/Remix) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc. )
• 2+ years programming experience in languages such as Javascript, HTML, CSS, Python, Java, Rust, Ruby, etc.
• Prior experience building public REST and gRPC API's
Preferred Qualifications:
• BS and 5+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility, security, and usability.
• Experience building, deploying, and running applications in Kubernetes infrastructure
• Experience developing security, compliance, or risk management platforms

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
