Hours:
The scheduled shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 2nd Shift, 2:30pm - 11pm

How Will You Make an Impact?
In this role, you will oversee the production of liquid media consisting of various raw materials used in life science applications. The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently by guiding, training, and managing team members. This role requires a high level of attention to detail with a focus on safety, quality, and other production standards in mind to contribute to the site’s overall success.
A Day in the Life:
+ Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the manufacturing team.
+ Ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and ensure product quality and consistency.
+ Collaborate and work with diverse teams to support manufacturing.
+ Monitor and analyze production metrics to ensure process integrity and identify any deviations.
+ Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
+ Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
+ Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
+ Address any production-related issues promptly and effectively.
Education:
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Experience:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
+ Required: Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting, or related field
+ Preferred: Previous supervisory or leadership experience and experience in a cGMP environment
+ Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to follow complex instructions and document accurately for safety and quality.
+ Familiarity with complex manufacturing processes and adept at implementing practical process improvements.
+ Proficiency in coordinating, completing, and training others effectively to accomplish department’s processes.
+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Capable of lifting, moving up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, squatting, bending, and reaching during tasks.
Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, beard guard (if necessary), safety glasses, and gloves. Additional PPE such as bump cap, face mask, goggles, face shield, and respirator may also be necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $72,000.00–$108,000.00.
