How will you make an impact?
The Digital Account Manager will leverage product features, benefits, and a solid understanding of scientific techniques and applications, alongside strong soft selling skills to follow up and qualify leads, initiate and close sales, and promote company products and services in support of achieving or exceeding assigned growth targets. This individual will manage in-bound inquiries and cultivate customer relationships at assigned accounts, anticipate evolving needs, and serve as a trusted partner to deliver an outstanding customer experience at pre-identified accounts within North America. Can be based out of our Grand Island, NY office or Austin, TX office.
A Day in the Life:
+ Become an expert in specific Biosciences (BID) product portfolios.
+ Respond positively to and expeditiously process all incoming inquiries, email, and meeting requests from customers.
+ Provide a high level of customer service excellence to assist customers digitally through various forms of technology remotely.
+ Triage and troubleshoot customer needs and ensure the customer is directed to the appropriate company resource.
+ Facilitate the information flow between customers, sales reps/account managers, technical sales specialists, customer service and technical services.
+ Provide quotes, pricing and promotions to customers based on their unique needs.
+ Log opportunities in Salesforce.com.
Keys to Success:
Education
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Sciences field is required or related lab experience may substitute.
Experience
+ Requires a minimum of 0-1 years related work experience (i.e. customer services, telephone experience).
+ Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or like programs. Salesforce a plus.
+ Knowledge of life sciences and workflows or ands-on laboratory experience in a research lab setting, particularly in the area of genomics is desired.
+ Experiences in remote selling (phone or digital) and customer consultation is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
+ General knowledge of the assigned product portfolio and/or customer segment required.
+ Can communicate in English
+ Practical understanding of the sales process & buying cycle.
+ Must possess strong interpersonal skills, positive demeanor, and have the professional mannerisms to hold oneself in any customer situation.
+ Must be detail oriented, excellent communicator, self and highly motivated, and work effectively in a multi-task environment.
+ Minimal travel may be required (up to 5%).

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Texas is $42,000.00–$61,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
