SUMMARY
This role involves carrying out daily tasks such as repairs, maintenance, press servicing, and monitoring the tasks in the ERP system used in the Tool Room (Mold Shop).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Track and complete the work orders
+ Track red zone
+ Proper use of hand tools
+ Bring support to the process team.
+ Repair tools
+ Clean the tools before sending them to the machine.
+ Preventive maintenance routine and documentation
+ Properly use tool shop equipment
+ 5S’s in the tool room and tool shop
+ Storage tools in racks.
+ May perform other reasonable, related business duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, plus at least 6 years of machine shop experience, which includes CAD, or equivalent – OR- Apprenticeship Program, or certification from technical school, and 4 years of experience as described above.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blue prints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense, logical understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed.
