About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Functional professional with expertise in US payroll business processes and Oracle Cloud Payroll. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fast formulas and be able to effectively manage and optimize payroll operations.

In this role, you will:

• **Payroll Management:** Oversee and manage payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for US employees.

• **Oracle Cloud Payroll:** Implement and maintain Oracle Cloud Payroll systems, ensuring seamless integration with other HR and financial systems.

• **Fast Formulas:** Develop, test, and maintain fast formulas to automate payroll calculations and processes.

• **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

• **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Detroit, MI. What you need to have to be considered

• **Experience:** Minimum of 13 years of experience in payroll management, with a focus on US payroll business processes.

• **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Payroll and hands-on experience with fast formulas.

• **Knowledge:** Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.

• **Analytical Skills:** Ability to analyze payroll data and generate meaningful reports.

• **Communication:** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

These will help you stand out

• Previous experience in a senior payroll role within a large organization.

• **Certifications:** Oracle HCM cloud Payroll

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 - $130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
