Performs varied and complex administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and/or program. Major/Essential Functions:
+ Assists the Director in managing, planning, coordinating, and supervising the day-to-day activities of the Graduate Writing Center such as scheduling, checking and responding to GWC email, communicating with programming registrants and applicants through email, etc; assists the Director in the development of new policies and procedures; Works one-to-one with clients who wish to improve the quality of their written communication skills.
+ Create marketing materials for events and workshops, as needed, including oversight of a social media intern/student assistant, updating of all programming and events into Summit Events/Salesforce and Raider Success Hub as well as maintaining the Graduate Writing Center website. Collaborate with Undergraduate Writing Center on marketing for center-wide events.
+ Assists the Director in hiring, training, and providing professional development for writing consultants; supports GWC student assistants by helping with hiring, training, scheduling, and payroll.
+ Assists the Director in the ongoing assessment of students' needs, including the development and implementation of Graduate Writing Center programs to meet identified needs, and the assessment program outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement.
+ Participates in programmatic support services with other designated areas, such as the Graduate School and Academic Innovation and Student Success.
+ Collaborates with Writing Centers of TTU administrators to ensure the optimal running and ongoing development of services for undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff.
+ Engages in research and the growing body of writing center scholarship. Examples of engagement include writing a publication, presenting at a conference, volunteering for a professional organization, or giving/attending a professional development event.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Three years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
