Description of Work Unit
The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics ( DARE ) centers its research, teaching and outreach activities in defined areas of excellence: agricultural education, agribusiness management and finance, livestock systems, consumer choice and the economics of water, land and environment. We are dedicated to, and appreciated for, engaging stakeholders in high-quality disciplinary and interdisciplinary research, as well as the ability to effectively communicate findings to the public and peers. Excellence in teaching and mentoring students is created with thoughtful and innovative curricular design, emphasizing experiential learning where appropriate and fostering student achievement. Position Summary
Temporary full-time Post-doctoral Fellow positions may become available through the year in the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics. Fields of research include but are not limited to: environmental and resource economics; agricultural economics; agricultural policy; food systems.
Required Job Qualifications
+ Completed PhD in Agricultural Economics from an accredited institution by start date of employment. Additional required qualifications and salary determined by specific position to be filled.
+ The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the department will not provide visa sponsorship for this position
