Position Overview

Performs fertilization and pest management on turfs and lawns using spray and injection tools by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

+ Cultivate your career and fertilize your future!

+ Properly trim, string trim, mow, weed, applying weed control/herbicides/fertilizer and so much more.

+ Communicate and educate the client regarding the diagnosis and the prescribed pest control, aerification and fertilization service(s) with customers.

+ Continuously monitor lawn quality and fertilizing methods after application and communicate progress to customers and supervisors.

+ Drive, use, maintain and properly operate equipment (truck and sprayer).

Qualifications

+ Love of the outdoors

+ Required: Valid Driver's license

+ Required: Background in Lawn/Turf Care & Landscaping

+ Ability to complete the Davey Tree Qualified Lawn Care Tech training program upon hire

+ Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire

+ Preferred: Relevant pesticide, CDL and related licenses and certificates
