Speech-Language Pathologist | $70/hr | Columbia Heights, MN | 36.25 hrs/week | In-Person | ASAP–June 2026

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at Columbia Heights Public Schools in Minnesota. This in-person role begins ASAP and runs for approximately 30 weeks. The SLP will work with school teams to provide evaluations, therapy services, and documentation in alignment with student care plans.

Position Details

+ Location: Columbia Heights, MN

+ Setting: In-person

+ School Site: Columbia Heights Public Schools

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7.75 hrs/day (30-minute unpaid lunch)

+ Hours: 36.25 hrs/week

+ Start Date: November 10, 2025

+ Duration: 30 weeks

+ Pay: $70 per hour

+ Openings: 1

Responsibilities

+ Conduct student evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans

+ Deliver speech and language therapy services per physician orders and IEP goals

+ Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

+ Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

+ Participate in IEP meetings and school-based planning

+ Support students in developing communication and language skills

+ Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Active Minnesota SLP license (PELSB required)

+ CCC-SLP preferred and may be required by contract

+ Previous school-based experience preferred

+ CPR certification, TB/PPD clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
