Behavioral Technician – School-Based Support (Charter Oak, Covina, Claremont) Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, School Hours | Start Date: August 2025

Amergis Educational Services is hiring dedicated Behavioral Technicians to support students with special needs in the Charter Oak, Covina, and Claremont areas for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the classroom by helping students achieve their educational and behavioral goals.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Technician, you will:

+ Work 1:1 with students or support small groups in classroom settings

+ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and behavioral specialists

+ Implement behavior intervention strategies and support learning objectives

+ Assist students with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges

+ Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

+ High School diploma or equivalent (required)

+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience (preferred)

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening: questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
