    As a **Sr. Advanced Quality Engineer** here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to quality excellence.     You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ (Deer Valley) location onsite Monday- Friday.

     

    In this role, you will impact the quality assurance processes and drive improvements that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be essential in analyzing quality metrics and implementing advanced quality control methodologies.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Monitor contract performance against defined quality scope, and identify areas for assertion

    + Participate in program reviews, customer meetings, monthly reporting, and risk and opportunity management as required

    + Ensure Quality Contract deliverables are aligned with site and business requirements

    + Leads, trains, and mentors other engineers and technicians

    + Undertake the development and implementation of advanced quality control processes and procedures through projects and continuous improvement initiatives to support customer quality

    + Engage in the continuous monitoring and analysis of intricate quality performance metrics.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support delivery of quality products to customers

    + Guarantee and maintain strict compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    + Support and lead product change notices

    + Additional Duties as required

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

    + 8+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry, demonstrating your understanding of the unique quality challenges in this sector

    + 2+ years in a customer facing role

    + Advanced knowledge of quality control methodologies, tools, and techniques.

    + Advanced collaboration and teamwork skills

    + Strong knowledge of quality engineering methodologies and tools

    + AS9100/ISO9001 Audit Experience

    WE VALUE

    + Master’s degree preferred.

    + Certification in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional).

    + Additional certifications in quality management, such as Six Sigma Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), or Internal Auditor Certification

    + Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies, such as Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).

    + Proficiency in change management methodologies.

    + Demonstrates working under minimal supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making

    + Demonstrated ability providing technical guidance, project management guidance, consultative services, and innovative solutions to leadership

    + Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

    + Familiarity with Six Sigma and other quality improvement methodologies.
