The Sr Product Portfolio Specialist is a key role responsible for managing and optimizing the product portfolio to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and market demands. This position involves supporting complex projects, providing strategic insights, and working cross-functionally to drive product success. The role requires a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, market trends, and portfolio strategy.
Work Schedule: Hybrid 3/2 schedule (please note, new hires to Honeywell must be onsite fully for the first 90 days)

+ Project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
**Portfolio Management:** Support the management of the product portfolio, including performance tracking, analysis, and optimization. Develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio value and drive business growth.
**Strategic Planning:** Collaborate with senior management to define and execute portfolio strategies. Contribute to long-term planning and strategic decision-making based on market trends and business objectives.
**Product Lifecycle Oversight:** Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure effective management of product development, launches, and phase-outs.
**Market Research:** Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and customer needs. Use insights to inform product strategies and make data-driven decisions.
**Cross-Functional Support:** Work closely with R&D, marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product initiatives. Facilitate communication and coordination across departments to support successful product execution.
**Performance Analysis:** Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio. Analyze performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
**Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:** Engage with customers, partners, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, address issues, and build strong relationships. Utilize feedback to drive product improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.
Travel up to 10%
Must Have:
+ 3+ years of experience in product management, portfolio management, or related field
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with product management software and tools.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment
We Value
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Support, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
+ Knowledge of commercial fire products and accessories (preferred) or building automation products and accessories
+ Strong thoughtfulness and problem-solving skills

+ Insight into pricing strategies and performance-driven thoughtfulness

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
