A Day in the Life
If you are looking to expand your commercial business acumen, lead a team of diverse employees and lead organizational transformation initiatives, come join the U.S. Enterprise Accounts, Strategic Channels and U.S. Rebates FP&A team. This is a newly created role that will lead our FP&A team working to connect our segment financials along with rebates across EA&SC and the U.S. portfolios.
This unique role offers broad finance leadership experience as you will work with multiple functional partners (Sales, Contracting, Pricing, Finance, Credit Financial Services and Controllership). EA&SC is an important part of the Global Commercial Office and supports significant revenue growth opportunities and leverages the breadth Medtronic has to offer.

+ Lead FP&A team across EA&SC on key deliverables around month-end, forecasts, and quarter close activities.
+ Establish new processes and reporting for our partners that help track key initiatives we are working on to achieve our goals.
+ Collaborate across finance teams to ensure alignment of messaging, proactive insights, ad hoc analysis aligned to deliver revenue and operating profit goals
+ Oversee rebate accrual management and reporting processes ensuring strong financial and operational controls exist within Rebates processes.
+ Partner with Global Pricing and Contracting partners to drive compliance to the Rebates Playbook.
+ Lead a team of 9 employees to complete FP&A responsibilities along with daily rebate administration activities and achieve service levels.
+ Manage team and individual performance, developing talent, engagement and inclusion, communicating business and operational developments, planning, prioritizing and / or directing the responsibilities of direct reports.
+ Review business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and controls through automation, and partner with stakeholders to implement any changes.
+ Provide standard and ad hoc reporting to various stakeholders, providing insights on rebate performance and financial impact on sales and OUs.
+ Build business partnering relationships with Finance, Sales, and Contracting.
+ Drive transformation activities to drive standardization and scale opportunities.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
+ Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
Nice to Have
+ Excel, PowerPoint, GSR, SAP, Vistex and other pricing system experience
+ Rebates experience
+ Solid accounting (U.S. GAAP), finance and financial controls knowledge
+ Experience managing and developing teams
+ Experience working in a matrixed environment
+ Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills, and high degree of initiative and influence management skills.
+ Ability to operate within a fast-paced, matrix organization and various levels of management
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$144,000.00 - $216,000.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).
Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
