    We have an outstanding Contract position for aFlower Shop Representativeto join a leading Company located in theBurbank, CA surrounding area.

     

    Pay Rate: $23.00

     

    Flower Shop Representatives are responsible for providing exceptional customer service to client families. This position performs clerical work , provides customer service, and conducts the sale of flowers in the flower shop .

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Maintain effective communication with client families. Solve and address customer concerns in a timely manner .

    + Maintain a correct balance of cash and timely submission of cash reports, following all cash handling procedures.

    + Maintain professional vendor relationships. Order, verify, and receive inventory. Deliver client family orders by deadline.

    + Receive and process phone, internet, and other orders accurately to meet customer expectations.

    + Receive payments for contracts, add-ons, and store merchandise, from customers and provide receipts.

    + Be knowledgeable and perform office functions including , but not limited to, maintaining daily cash and inventory reports, work on HMIS and MA internal systems.

    + Clean and organize the refrigerator and storage areas.

    + Clean front shop (display area) daily.

    + Maintain good communication with the public and other employees.

    + Maintain a clean and safe working office/ cashier's area.

    + Actively help client families in the Flower Shop and throughout the park.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

    + Previous experience in a customer service position.

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Must have good oral and written communication skills.

    + Type 35 wpm and be PC literate; basic knowledge of Word and Excel.

    + Must be able to handle difficult situations with minimal supervision.

    + Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

    + Ability to lift 60 lbs.

    + Must be able to work on-site.

    Desired Qualifications:

    + Bilingual preferred.

    + Previous experience in a flower shop/cashier/sales position.
