    Speech Language Pathologist

     

    Full Time with Saturday rotation

     

    $42 - $47.28/hour

    What will I do as a Speech Language Pathologist for The Wesley Community?

     

    Our Speech and Language Pathologists work closely with in our in-patient long term care residents and short term rehab patients to restore activities of daily living . A few of the most common duties and responsibilities required of Speech Language Pathologists include:

     

    + Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual client needs.

    + Provide counseling and support to clients and their families.

    + Collaborate with other professionals to develop treatment plans.

    + Keep detailed records of client progress.

    + Maintain a safe environment for clients.

    + Provide education and training to clients and their families.

    Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:

    + Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Program

    + Current New York State SLP License

    + Experience in Subacute and/or Long-Term care a plus, but not required
