    Job Description

    Peerless Pump Company, a leading USA pump manufacturer is seeking a highly organized and proactive Service/Training Coordinator to support our field service operations and ensure seamless execution of service activities. This role will work closely with the Fire Manager to manage logistics and assist in the development and delivery of training programs.

     

    This position reports to the Customer Success Manager and offers a hybrid work schedule, with three days at our Indianapolis, Indiana facility and two days working remotely from home.

    What is the job about?

    Service Coordinator

    + Creation of work orders for service technicians and service partners, processing in SAP CS & Salesforce.

    + Schedule and dispatch field service technicians for installations, maintenance, and repairs.

    + Act as the primary liaison between customers, service teams, and internal departments.

    + Track service requests, work orders, and ensure timely completion and documentation.

    + Maintain service records, work orders, and documentation in the company’s ERP system.

    + Coordinate parts ordering, warranty claims, and service invoicing.

    + Support customer inquiries and ensure high levels of satisfaction throughout the service process.

    Training Coordinator

    + Collaborate with the Fire Trainer to plan, organize, and execute training sessions for employees, customers and partners.

    + Manage logistics for training events including scheduling, materials preparation, venue setup and attendee communication.

    + Maintain training records, certifications and attendance tracking.

    + Collect feedback from training participants and contribute to continuous improvement of training programs.

    + Collaborate with subject matter experts to update and improve training content.

     

    What do you need to apply?

     

    + A vocational certificate, associate’s degree is preferred but not required.

    + A minimum of at least 5 years of work experience and at least 2 years in a similar position.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and Salesforce is highly desired.

    + Communicative with strong interpersonal skills and be initiative oriented.

    + Strong customer centric focus and experience.

     

    Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
